Writing Prompts 9/22

1.) During what time period did the Cro-Magnon branch of humans live, and where did they live on Earth?
The Cro-Magnons lived about 40,000 years ago and they lived in the Middle East.
2.) Describe the images made (presumably) by Cro-Magnons that appear on the website.  What do the painting show?  What is the most likely reason why early man created these images?  How were they most likely used? (Answer all parts of this question, please).
The paintings show pictures of all types of animals, people & signs. I believe that early man made these paintings to tell a story about person who made each painting. I believe the pictures were used to signal someone & also to communicate to one another.
3.) List some of the materials used to draw the rock paintings.
The paintings were drawn with red and yellow ochre, hematite, manganese oxide and charcoal.
4.) After tens of thousands of years, these paintings are still embedded on the cave walls, but has the meaning of these paintings lasted as well?
I believe our meanings are completely different from the actual meaning we just see the pictures and try to put a reason behind these pictures but have no clear understanding.
5.) Explain how silhouettes can convey the meaning or mood of a situation, without having animated movement or sound.
I believe silhouettes can express the meaning or mood of a person based on there body language in the silhouettes for insists if your happy you might make a silhouette of someone jumping in the air with there hands up showing some type happy actions or movements.
